During 10-17/6 Leon Godijk and Rudy Van Duijnhoven, fly fishing sportfishermen from the Netherlands, visited fims area in Ovanåker municipality!
Leon Godijk is a advisor for the Department
of Justice and Safety. He has been flyfishing for 37 years oll over
the world. He is a FFF CI and he has been teaching fly casting for
many years.
Rudy Van Duijnhoven, Freelance photographer and writer, publish in Beet, Karper, Rovers, Fliegenfischen, Fly Fishing & Fly Tying and other magazines. EFFA Master Flycasting Instructor. DAAFT flytier. Since 1992 the co-ordinator for the fly
fishing of the monthly ’BEET-Sportvissersmagazine’.
In January of 2001 he where nominated, along with two other
photographers, for the ’BEET Hengelsport Promotieprijs 2001’
(BEET Angling Promotion Prize 2001). He has also recieved the
’Hans P.C. de Groot Fly Fair Award’ by Ad Swier.
Leon and Rudy where here and testing the new fims destination “Jössebo Vildmarkscamp” with the virgin water Mörtsjön in Ryggesbo, for the dutch travel agency Cordes Travel. Guided by our fims guides, Benny Backeby and Anders Persson.
During this trip we also did an own fims movie, fly fishing for pike in bellyboat and from boat. There the team was “Nature-Fishing-Living”. Tobias Ekvall from Channel Free had been tasked to do this. The movie will be released in october on channel frees youtube and www.fims.nu, so keep your eyes open!

Jössebo Vildmarkscamp
Located in Ovanåker municipality. Nice camp with an old history, exterior and interior style. Super friendly helpfully house owners! A camp in beautiful wilderness nature. Cottages and a mainbuilding with shower, toilets, selfcatering, possibility to order breakfast, lunch and dinner. To go to nearest cities Alfta and Edsby for shopping and more, its only 30 minutes. If you like Zoo, go to Järvzoo in Järvsö, only 30-40 minutes away!
If you are in middle of Sweden and dont have been in Jössebo Vildmarkscamp, go there!
